Yelow Tek Records
Yelow Tek Records is the brain child of Producer/DJ Slim Yelow.
Created in 2003 and based out of Los Angeles California YTR serves as an independent vehicle for high energy tech and funky house. From the ground up YTR was designed to exist as a digital label in order to meet the demands of the fast paced nature of underground dance music.
Tribal Funk Records
Tribal Funk Records is a sub label of Yelow Tek Recordings (Slim Yelow) and explores the darker energetic side of progressive and tribal underground dance. TFR specializes in tracks with many swells, large buildups and tribal rhythms for peak hour DJ sets.
Funky Vitamin E
Funky Vitamin E is a sub label of Yelow Tek Recordings (Slim Yelow) and was created in 2003 as an outlet for funky tech underground dance tracks. Many tracks are geared towards peak hour sets with driving rhythms and large builds.
Royale with Cheeze
Royale with Cheeze was created in 2002 by producer and DJ Slim Yelow as his first dance music label. As an outlet for breaks and funky house it later transformed into a breaks defined sub label under Yelow Tek Recordings (Slim Yelow). The title of the label was inspired by the movie “Pulp Fiction”.
Hydrogen Metrix
Hydrogen Metrix is an all digital label created by Slim Yelow in 1999, showcasing Downtempo, Chillout, Ambient and New Age music.
This label is Slim Yelow’s personal outlet for electronica unrelated to the dance floor. HM inspires relaxing, dreamy and ethereal moods for everyone to enjoy.
